This is the first case for a Japanese exchange to admit trading membership of an overseas investor who has no office in Japan. TFX continues to promote the Remote Trading Membership Program to the overseas trading community and expand its geographic coverage.

As a comprehensive financial derivatives exchange in Asia, TFX is committed to serve and excel in providing the innovative products and schemes for investors throughout the world.

Remote Trading Membership Program
This is a program where overseas investors, who have no offices in Japan, will be able to become members of TFX and access the TFX market directly to trade Three-month Euroyen futures and options. Targeting investors who will be expected to bring new liquidity to the TFX market, Remote Trading Members will be able to receive various incentives including trading registration fee exemption and trading fee discount. However, Remote Trading Members must register as a Type Two Financial Instruments Business firm with a legal representative based in Japan and must clear through an existing TFX clearing member in Japan.
