Fixed Income (convertible bond and RMB) Trader

Top investment bank currently seeks an experienced and talented fixed income trader to join their Hong Kong based desk.
The position would be to cover convertible bond ( CB ) and RMB products primarily at first, before branching into wider fixed income products later down the line. Joining at a VP – Director level the position would take an instrumental role in the development of the desk, driving forward new product and geographical coverage in a high visibility, high impact position.
Responsibilities for Fixed Income (convertible bond and RMB) Trader – Hong Kong
- Trading fixed income products.
- Trading across Asian markets.
- Developing the product offering of the desk.
- Market making primarily, whilst also taking proprietary positions.
Skills / Attributes for Fixed Income (convertible bond and RMB) Trader – Hong Kong
- Excellent product knowledge within fixed income
- Specific knowledge of RMB and CB products
- Extensive experience of the Asian markets
- Based in, or prepared to relocate to Hong Kong.
