Trader – Metals Trader, Stamford

We are currently working with a major commodity trade house who is looking to make a junior additional to their Stamford based operation. They are seeking a metals trader with 1-2 years experience in the space to join their firm and develop their career.

Responsibilities for Metals Trader, Stamford, Salary: $60-90k, (Metals, Base Metals, Physical, Trader) role:

• Trading physical metals to generate maximum trading revenue
• Futures hedging
• Involvement in all other aspects of trading operation including shipping, logistics, financing and operations
• Development of customer relationships in global metal markets
• Support trading activities of senior trader
• Provide support to business development teams

Skills / Attributes required for Metals Trader, Stamford, Salary: $60-90k, (Metals, Base Metals, Physical, Trader) role:

• Analyst to Associate level physical metal trader
• Experience working in a metals trading group
• An enthusiastic and ambitious personality
• Excellent communication skills with a fluency in English and ideally one other language
• Be willing to be based in Stamford, Connecticut
