Senior Soft Commodity Trader
Salary: Highly Competitive
An international trader of food and agriculture is looking for an experienced trader to lead a business for them across a number of markets from their Amsterdam office.
Responsibilities
- Managing a trading unit including commercial trading, sales and logistics
- Trading of physical commodities including cocoa, sugar and edible oils
- Responsible for sales and purchase contracts
- Manage hedging and derivative positions
Skills / Attributes required
- Vice-President to Director level
- A proven commercial track record in the agricultural commodity market
- Business development and management experience
- An understanding the physical supply and trading markets across agricultural and soft commodities
- Be willing to be based in Amsterdam
Candidates applying for the position should have a minimum of 5 years trading and management experience across the physical commodity markets and with a proven track record handing cocoa, sugar and related products.
