Interest Rate Options Trader

Alexander Black Recruitment is urgently looking for an Interest Rate Options Trader to join our high profile client.

Our client is one of the world’s top Prop Trading Houses. They trade across a wide range of asset classes globally. They cover the global markets by leveraging and integrating technology, risk management and quantitative research.

The trader will develop and execute Interest rate options trading strategies in the European and US markets.

Traders should have experience trading rate EUR options, ideally at a top tier fixed income house. The desk will have a dynamic set up allowing for traders to enjoy considerable flexibility in their roles. The team trades prop and traders are should be to run substantial risk allowing for significant P n L generation. Candidates should already be able to take advantage of this set up and also be keen to continue their development as a trader. This is fantastic opportunity both in terms of immediate responsibility and chances for career progression.

Candidates Must have:

Successful track record in trading interest rate options Must have strong risk management skills and an in-depth understanding of FI markets Genuine expertise in option theory Consistent PnL record for min 3 years BA/BSc in Maths, Stats, Finance Must be proficient in Excel and Bloomberg Strong quantitative skills Proven ability to investigate issues within own area of work and pursue goals and objectives until achieved

Applicants should be able to show substantial experience applying their skills to real-world problems with practical applications. You should also be able to demonstrate excellent quantitative skills, good attention to detail and significant achievement.
