Our client, a large Swiss energy house, currently has a position available on their Swiss-based Continental Power Trading operation. They are seeking a highly-driven and ambitious young power trader to join the firm and trade power across the European markets, ideally with a focus on the Italian market, although also potentially covering France, Germany and other regions.

Responsibilities for European Power Trader, Switzerland, Salary: 140-160k CHF, (Power, Continental, Physical, Bunker, Italian, Trader) role:

· The lucrative trading of European Power to capitalize on market volatility

· Developing and maintaining counterparty relationships across the European Energy markets

· Implementing trading strategies to maximize trading revenue

· Provide support to business development and marketing teams

Skills / Attributes required for European Power Trader, Switzerland, Salary: 140-160k CHF, (Power, Continental, Physical, Bunker, Italian, Trader) role:

· Associate to Vice-President level in terms of energy trading experience

· An excellent understanding of the Continental Power markets

· At least 2 years experience in the European Power markets

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Be willing to be based in Switzerland, just outside of Geneva
