We are keen to hire a individual with solid credentials with 8 to 10 years experience in a financial or commodity environment, with trading experience not only in cash but also in futures and fluent in English and Mandarin
Preferably someone with extensive network of contacts within the industry and most importantly good trading relations with the government agencies. Experience working in a multi-national company would be an added benefit as it will help him to coordinate closely with colleagues in Rotterdam. Experience in leading and managing a team would be a plus.
Job is two-fold – business development and trading – physical & financial, with in depth understanding of risk management.
• develop market trading strategy with the aim to develop and expand the local domestic market – from origins to destinations.
• develop China domestic grain trade flow which includes domestic grains like corn wheat etc Meals would be either imports or exports (mainly soyabeanmeal)
• source and develop opportunities to take positions independently with limited risk to get benefits
• manage relationship with clients .
Purpose of the job
Leading/developing local trading team, trade successfully and execute all trades properly
Develop China domestic grain trade flow
Develop CBOT/DCE market trading strategy
Develop trading relation with govt. agencies
Find opportunities to take positions with limited risk to get benefits
Principal Responsibilities (can be daily tasks)
Information gathering
Market analysis based on supply and demand tables, charts, brokers and other databases
Customer relationship management
Position tacking
Lead the execution team in the performance of all the transactions
Budget management, with the assistance of Risk and Finance departments
Close coordination with different country office’s books
Training up junior traders

University degree preferably in mathematics, Economics, Business or Science
Master degree is preferred
