Sales Director, Derivatives-Exchange.

Our client is an established multi asset class derivatives exchange. This new appointment within their equity products division, will seek to increase volumes and revenues from new and existing customers across designated customer segments in their equity, index futures and options markets.

The successful candidate will be tasked with increasing market share by assisting in the development and launch of new products/opportunities.

• Responsible for the equity product’s profitability in the region, serving as the primary point of contact for all business in equity products.
• Coordinate marketing & communication efforts with relationship managers to build the overall equity client base and product awareness in the region.
• Maintain viability of current product offerings, and contribute insight into market and business development in a product area or region.
• Generate new customer business for equity, index futures and options products.
• Educate customers about, and facilitate access to equity, index futures and options products through frequent visits to customers, attending trade shows, answering questions and providing information on a timely basis.
• Act as liaison to key industry trade groups, customers and exchange partners.
• Maintain good relationships with various sales and distribution sales.
• Work with research and product development group to improve existing products and identify opportunities to expand product suite.

The successful candidate will require a minimum 7-10 years of experience in equity derivative sales and marketing. Any experience with OTC options and volatility products would be beneficial. Preferably covering buy-side accounts. Alternatively you could be working in a similar role at an alternative exchange.
