Fund Administration Manager

Responsibilities:

· Manage a team of Fund Accountants to ensure smooth operation of daily/monthly activities
· Maintain internal control and setting obtainable timelines
· Assist new on boarding fund launches by reviewing general guidelines
· Liaise with external clients, external auditors as well as internal BU for accounting issues in an effort to resolve issues in a timely matter
· Ensure that Operational Risk within the team is adequately managed. This includes its identification, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting

Requirements:

· Thorough knowledge and understanding of financial instruments and accounting.

· Extensive experience in Hedge Fund Accounting

· Understanding of the internal systems for fund administration and shareholder registration

· Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

· Coaching and training of Fund Accountants/Senior Fund Accountants

· Service-oriented and client focused proactive and responsive approach to responsibilities.

· Team player approach to attaining group objectives.

· Excellent leadership skills
